Churchville Elementary School Welcomes Embryology Science Project Chicks

Chicks have hatched throughout the month of June in Council Rock’s Churchville Elementary School as part of the 4th Grade Embryology Project made possible by CREF with support from Customers Bank. A special thank you to Customers Bank for making it possible for all of our 4th-grade students and classrooms to participate in this experience throughout the Council Rock School District. The Embryology Project is an innovative District-wide S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) project that allows more than 800 4th graders the opportunity to learn about the stages of embryonic development as they incubate, observe, record data, and hatch avian eggs. This interactive learning project enhances the current Council Rock School District 4th-grade curriculum. And just in case you are wondering, these chicks will go to a farm in Bucks County and live as pets.
