Congratulations to the teachers and students who took part in the SkillsUSA District 2 Competitions.
“Competing in the Job Interview competition at districts and placing first was an incredible experience. This is my second year participating in SkillsUSA competitions. Last year I placed first in Job Demo A and advanced to states. Through these competitions, I was able to test myself in a real-world scenario, preparing myself for my future as a Patient Care Technician.” Said Gold winning student, Emma Daugaard. “These real-life situations like Job Interview have allowed me to practice and excel in professional communication and developed my confidence in showcasing my skills effectively, earning trust of judges and hopefully in my future the trust of employers and patients.”
