A Different Kind of Summer Camp at the Fab Lab Center

When peo­ple think ‘sum­mer camp’ they think out­door sports and activ­i­ties, swim­ming, tents, and camp­fires. However, the great out­doors isn’t the ide­al sum­mer expe­ri­ence for every­one. The Fab Lab Center is offer­ing 10 dif­fer­ent sum­mer camp themes that include all the fun, friends, and FABulous mem­o­ries of tra­di­tion­al sum­mer camps just with­out bugs, sun­burns, or sweat!

The Fab Lab Center Summer Camp will engage kids in inter­ac­tive, chal­leng­ing, engag­ing activ­i­ties designed to bring tons of smiles. Using games, exhi­bi­tions, and com­pe­ti­tions, chil­dren will use their cre­ativ­i­ty and curios­i­ty to imag­ine, explore, design, and cre­ate! Each day includes theme sched­uled projects, open/free Fab Lab time, move­ment breaks, snack and lunch times, and tons of FUN! 

Fab Lab Summer Camp is designed for chil­dren who will be enter­ing grades 1 through 7 in the Fall of 2023 with campers grouped by age and skill lev­el to ensure full engage­ment and max­i­mum fun for every­one. This exclu­sive camp expe­ri­ence offers a dif­fer­ent theme every week – reg­is­ter for 1, 2, 5, or all the weeks! A multi-week and/or sib­ling dis­count of 3% off (only one will be applied) is available.

  • June 26 — Minecraft Mania
  • July 10 — Summertime Robot Challenges
  • July 17 — Boardwalk Games (Make ’em and Play ’em) ORVideo Production — Take 1, Scene 1
  • July 24 — STEAM Camp Sampler 2
  • July 31 — Build, Create, and Program with LEGOs
  • August 7 — Conquer the World of Minecraft
  • August 14 — Robot Road Trip
  • August 21 — STEAM Camp Sampler 3

Each week runs Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm with full day camp options of 3 or 5 days a week (a morn­ings only option is also avail­able 5 days a week). For work­ing fam­i­lies, Fab Lab Explorers is an option­al add-on before, and after-care pro­gram offered from 7:00–8:00am and/or 4:00–5:30pm. All Fab Lab Summer Camps and Explorer pro­grams are led by cer­ti­fied, mas­ter STEAM teach­ers and administrators.
