MBIT Engineering Related Technology Program Students

The stu­dents of the Engineering Related Technology pro­gram want­ed to con­vey their appre­ci­a­tion to Arnold’s Family Fun Center, Speed Raceway, and to the MBIT Automotive Program for donat­ing the crit­i­cal parts need­ed to build a Go-cart which is pow­ered by a used car alternator.

The Go Cart team is mod­i­fy­ing used car alter­na­tors and turn­ing them into brush­less motors and also design­ing the con­trol sys­tem that will even­tu­al­ly be used to oper­ate the vehicle.

The stu­dents are look­ing for­ward to dri­ving around the MBIT park­ing lot this Spring!
