NOVA Encourage Upstanders Recognition Night

On Thursday, May 30, 2019, the Pennridge High School stu­dents who par­tic­i­pat­ed in the NOVA Encourage Upstanders Program were hon­ored for their ded­i­ca­tion, com­mit­ment to com­mu­ni­ty, and work as NOVA’s encour­age Upstanders Program Peer Educators. 

In addi­tion to the cer­tifi­cate pre­sen­ta­tions by NOVA team mem­bers, W. Joeseph Werner, LSW, Pennridge High School Social Worker intro­duced all NOVA team mem­bers and Mandy Mundy, Senior Director, Programs and Services at NOVA spoke about the impact of the stu­dents work. Her speech was called “The Intersection of Social Emotional Learning and Peer Education.”
