On Thursday, May 30, 2019, the Pennridge High School students who participated in the NOVA Encourage Upstanders Program were honored for their dedication, commitment to community, and work as NOVA’s encourage Upstanders Program Peer Educators.
In addition to the certificate presentations by NOVA team members, W. Joeseph Werner, LSW, Pennridge High School Social Worker introduced all NOVA team members and Mandy Mundy, Senior Director, Programs and Services at NOVA spoke about the impact of the students work. Her speech was called “The Intersection of Social Emotional Learning and Peer Education.”
