Members of the Harlem Wizards Basketball Team were in CR schools on Friday, November 9 to talk to students about the importance of working as a team. With messages of unity and collaboration woven into their assembly programs, they urged students not to partake in bullying of any kind and underscored the idea that we are all better when we work together. The high flying, slam-dunking athletes also told students to appreciate their teachers and value their education. Today’s school visits are part of CREF’s November 17 Harlem Wizards basketball game experience. The Wizards always make it a point to connect with students in the districts where they are set to play. Wizard players will be back in CR schools on Monday, November 12 to continue spreading positive vibes before they hit the court on Saturday, November 17 to take on TEAM ROCK!
