On Saturday, October 27th the Council Rock High School South Marching Band won first place at the 2018 US Bands Group IV‑A Pennsylvania State Championships. With a score of 89.875 Council Rock High School South won all captions including Music, Visual, Colorguard, Percussion, and Overall Effect. This is Council Rock High School South’s Second State Championship title. Later that same day, the Council Rock High School South Marching Band also delivered an incredible indoor performance at Neshaminy High School that rocked the gym, earning them a rating of “Outstanding” as well as awards for “Best Colorguard”, “Best Percussion” and “Best Visual.”
The Council Rock High School South Marching Band has been practicing extremely hard since early August to put on their 2018 production entitled, “Into the Light” and is proud to present instrumental soloists Byron Friend, Mae Dumont, and Hadley Ellison and dance soloists Calista Pushman and Kiley Malloy.
