19th Annual Secondary Transition Options and Resource Fair

The Bucks County Intermediate Unit (Bucks IU), along with The Transition Coordinating Council of Bucks County, are host­ing their 19th Annual Secondary Transition Options and Resource Fair on Thursday, November 1, 2018.  This unique event focus­es on pro­vid­ing infor­ma­tion on sup­port ser­vices, spe­cial­ty pro­grams, employ­ment sup­port agen­cies, col­leges, and technical/trade schools to tran­si­tion age stu­dents with spe­cial needs.  Join us from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the Bucks County Intermediate Unit, locat­ed at 705 N. Shady Retreat Rd. in Doylestown PA.  Attendance and park­ing are both free, and light snacks will be provided.

Transition pro­grams focus on stu­dents between the ages of 14–21, how­ev­er all stu­dents with spe­cial needs are more than wel­come to attend.   We espe­cial­ly wel­come and encour­age atten­dance by student’s fam­i­lies.  Over 40 orga­ni­za­tions, aca­d­e­m­ic insti­tu­tions, com­mu­ni­ty agen­cies, and ven­dors are reg­is­tered to attend and share their infor­ma­tion with these stu­dents, par­ents, fam­i­lies, and educators.
