Congratulations to the Springfield Elementary Team

Springfield Elementary School was rec­og­nized at the State Level for “high fideli­ty imple­men­ta­tion of the Positive Behavior Interventions and Support Program (PBIS).”  This pro­gram, in its sec­ond year of imple­men­ta­tion at Springfield Elementary high­lights pro­motes pos­i­tive behav­ior by rec­og­niz­ing stu­dents who are respect­ful, respon­si­ble and kind.  In order to receive this hon­or, the Springfield team sub­mit­ted an appli­ca­tion that met the fol­low­ing criteria:

  • In good stand­ing of the PA Positive Behavior Support Network
  • Supported by a PA Positive Behavior Support Facilitator, and
  • Submitted 2016–17 annu­al data as required by the PAPBS Network pro­gram evaluator.

By meet­ing the “fideli­ty of imple­men­ta­tion cri­te­ria,” our Springfield Elementary team demon­strat­ed their care­ful com­mit­ment to build­ing char­ac­ter and lead­er­ship among stu­dents at the ele­men­tary level.

NOTE:  This pro­gram is being new­ly imple­ment­ed at Durham Nockamixon and Tinicum Elementary Schools.
