Congratulations to BHS senior, Vrund Patel for participating in the TruMark Financial Jeopardy competition and winning the first place award, a $5,000 scholarship. The competition is sponsored annually by TruMark Financial Credit Union, as part of their ongoing commitment to promote the growth of financial literacy competencies among the area youth.
The eleventh annual Financial Jeopardy Game took place on May 9 from 5–8 p.m. at TruMark Financial headquarters, located at 335 Commerce Drive, Fort Washington, Pa.
Vrund competed against a student representative from Abington, George Washington, Neshaminy, Norristown, Northeast, Plymouth Whitemarsh, Upper Dublin, Radnor, Roman Catholic, and William Tennent. At the end of the competition, Vrund was victorious winning the grand prize.
Vrund plans to attend Drexel University in the fall and major in Computer Science.
