The Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT) student government association, SkillsUSA, coordinates school events and fundraising campaigns throughout the course of the school year. Recently, the students raised money for the SkillsUSA State Initiative, the “Ronald McDonald House”. MBIT was able to raise $1,230. The SkillsUSA officers presented the check to the McDonald’s in Jamison, PA.
SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry representatives encouraging skills mastery through competitions at the district, state, and national levels each year, focusing on job skills and academic achievement.
The Ronald McDonald House mission is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families.
