Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT) is host­ing a vir­tu­al Open House for mid­dle school and high school stu­dents on Thursday, November 19, 2020 begin­ning at 6:00 pm. There will be a pre­miere video to kick off our vir­tu­al Open House fea­tur­ing some of our SkillsUSA offi­cers. You can also explore our cam­pus and pro­grams with an inter­ac­tive map, vir­tu­al­ly meet our teach­ers, and take part in our Questions and Answer ses­sions using the Zoom plat­form! The school serves stu­dents in grades 10–12 from the Centennial, Central Bucks, Council Rock, and New Hope-Solebury School Districts. According to Kathryn Strouse, Administrative Director, “Open House is a great oppor­tu­ni­ty to see the pro­grams and meet the teach­ers. Middle Bucks Institute of Technology has some incred­i­ble resources that real­ly help the stu­dents start to think now about their career options.”

Middle Bucks Institute of Technology’s leading-edge, rig­or­ous, and rel­e­vant career and tech­ni­cal edu­ca­tion pro­grams pre­pare high school stu­dents for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, and high-demand careers. The edu­ca­tion­al pro­grams at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology are orga­nized into five Career Pathways, which include Arts & Communication, Business & Information Technology, Engineering & Industrial Technology, Human Services, and Health & Science.  All career pro­grams are geared towards prepar­ing stu­dents to meet the grow­ing needs of In-Demand Occupations in Pennsylvania. The stu­dents ben­e­fit from hav­ing the abil­i­ty to get a head start on their career through hands-on rel­e­vant train­ing that leads to indus­try cer­ti­fi­ca­tions and post-secondary credits.
