MBIT recognizes career and technical education month in February with record interest

February is Career and Technical Education Month^® (CTE Month^®) and there has nev­er been more inter­est and enroll­ment at Middle Bucks Institute of Technology (MBIT). Across the coun­try, stu­dents are dis­cov­er­ing the ben­e­fits of career and tech­ni­cal edu­ca­tion (CTE) and the oppor­tu­ni­ties it pro­vides for a suc­cess­ful future.

During the month of February, schools and orga­ni­za­tions will be host­ing events and activ­i­ties to cel­e­brate and pro­mote CTE. These events will show­case the diverse range of career paths avail­able through CTE and the skills stu­dents can gain to suc­ceed in these fields.

There was a record num­ber in atten­dance at MBIT’s annu­al open house. “We were thrilled to see such inter­est in our career and tech­ni­cal offer­ings at MBIT. It was great to see prospec­tive stu­dents and their par­ents learn­ing about all of the oppor­tu­ni­ties that exist at MBIT from our cur­rent stu­dents. At MBIT we are “prepar­ing tomorrow’s work­force today” with mod­ern equip­ment and industry-recognized con­tent that give our stu­dents a com­pet­i­tive advan­tage in the work­place. Career and tech­ni­cal edu­ca­tion is cer­tain­ly on the rise and MBIT has twenty-one world class pro­grams that are designed to pro­vide stu­dents with the skills and cer­ti­fi­ca­tions nec­es­sary to become employ­able in high demand and high wage jobs.” stat­ed Dr. Mark Covelle, Administrative Director.

MBIT is excit­ed to announce that this year, they have seen a record num­ber of stu­dents enrolling in CTE pro­grams. From tra­di­tion­al trades to emerg­ing tech­nolo­gies, there is a CTE pro­gram for every­one. The demand for skilled work­ers in these fields is high and CTE pro­vides the train­ing and edu­ca­tion stu­dents need to suc­ceed. With a focus on hands-on learn­ing and real-world expe­ri­ence, MBIT is help­ing stu­dents dis­cov­er their pas­sion and pre­pare for suc­cess­ful careers.
