At the 53rd annual Bucks County Playhouse Student Theatre Festival, Pennsbury Drama students performed a portion of their spring drama production, which was presented virtually to local audiences. “This year, the entire theatre festival was held virtually, but live via Zoom,” said Drama Director and vocal music teacher, Matt South. “The adjudicators were blown away by our ability to portray a comedy with masks on. They commented that the voices, rhythm, flow, and characters we created were more than enough to just make the masks disappear. At the end of the evening we were awarded Outstanding Comedic Ensemble and the Outstanding Comedic Performance award went to PHS student, Madison Russell.”
