Welcome to the Community School Programs for Palisades School District for Fall 2019!  A vari­ety of class­es are avail­able to you! 

Please com­plete the online reg­is­tra­tion form and pay using My School Bucks online — you may add mul­ti­ple class­es to your bas­ket.  If you pre­fer to pay by check, sim­ply print and com­plete the reg­is­tra­tion form below and mail in a check payable to Palisades School District for the class(es) — one check for each class should be sub­mit­ted.  If pay­ing by check, please mail to the Community Relations Office, 35 Church Hill Road, Kintnersville, PA  18930.

NEW CLASSES ADDED!!! 

LIFE CHANGING WITH HYPNOSIS:

The Hypnosis Counseling Center with offices in Flemington, Princeton Livingston and King of Prussia, PA will present a spe­cial set of work­shops on Thursday, November 7 for Smoking Cessation, Weight Loss and Better Sleep with Hypnosis.  Each work­shop includes hyp­no­sis exer­cis­es, dis­cus­sion and an option­al CD for an addi­tion­al $18, which assists in rein­forc­ing imme­di­ate results and long-range suc­cess. The work­shops can be tak­en indi­vid­u­al­ly or as a set. 

Smoking Cessation 6:30–7:30pm
Weight Loss 7:30–8:30pm 
Better Sleep with Hypnosis 8:30–9:15pm

TAI CHI

This intro­duc­to­ry series will focus on an easy-to-learn Tai Chi form. You will learn a short­ened tra­di­tion­al Tai Chi form, using clas­sic move­ments to teach basic Tai Chi prin­ci­ples.   Participants will fin­ish the ses­sion hav­ing prac­ticed rou­tines that can be eas­i­ly done at home, as well as pro­vid­ing a foun­da­tion for future learn­ing. Health ben­e­fits of Tai Chi include less stress and more ener­gy, improved bal­ance, and a greater sense of health and well-being.

BEGINNER’S QUILTING CLASS:

Must have work­ing sewing machine and some  knowl­edge of sewing…upon com­ple­tion of class you will have com­plet­ed a 12 block quilt.

HOLIDAY WREATH-MAKING:

Learn to make a beau­ti­ful hol­i­day wreath. Everyone will make and dec­o­rate a fra­grant, fresh ever­green wreath to take home. We sup­ply the frames, var­i­ous greens cut from our own grow­ing field and dec­o­ra­tions like pods, pine cones, bows and orna­ments. Fee includes your wreath frame, wire, greens, and dec­o­ra­tions. Will include light refresh­ments and all sup­plies need­ed. Participants are encour­aged to bring their own pair of gar­den­ing gloves. Evergreen boughs can be prickly!
