TINICUM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CELEBRATES THE BIG 6–0!
Tinicum Elementary stu­dents and staff took a walk back in time to cel­e­brate 60 years of edu­ca­tion­al suc­cess at this school loca­tion.  Having opened in September of 1958, the school has seen many changes in the build­ing and in the way that cur­ricu­lum is deliv­ered, and of course, the cur­ricu­lum itself!  Students learned about the his­to­ry of the school, its begin­nings and the peo­ple who made this school what it is today!  Congratulations to the Tinicum Tigers on the suc­cess of your first 60 years!  Wishing you many more years of suc­cess and nur­tur­ing of our youth!  Special thanks to every­one who helped to plan the cel­e­bra­tion, espe­cial­ly Dr. Borger and the plan­ning com­mit­tee!  Bravo to the entire com­mu­ni­ty for your sup­port of our schools.
