Eight Central Bucks teachers earn national board certification

National board cer­ti­fi­ca­tion is one of the most respect­ed pro­fes­sion­al cer­ti­fi­ca­tions avail­able in the edu­ca­tion field.  This is a vol­un­tary under­tak­ing by teach­ers and shows that teach­ers exhib­it a deep under­stand­ing of their stu­dents, con­tent knowl­edge, use of data and assess­ments and teach­ing prac­tices.  Less than 3% of teach­ers through­out the United States received this cer­ti­fi­ca­tion.

Central Bucks had eight teach­ers cer­ti­fied this year.  They were hon­ored at the school board of direc­tors meet­ing on January 23rd.  The eight teach­ers were:
